Red, White and Blue

Fireworks, BBQ and the Red, White & Blue. Sounds like the typical 4th of July weekend celebration for most people. I love that my heritage is Irish but what I love even more is my country and being an American. Sometimes it may feel like our Country is crazy or...

Internet Challenges

I love a good challenge!  I’m a child of the 80s, therefore I consider a challenge to be a contest or a competition in which you are trying to win or push yourself to the limits for a prize or for your own self-satisfaction. These “millennials” (I refuse to categorize...

The Easter Bunny

Seriously, whose great idea was it to have people dress up in the most terrifying Bunny costume imaginable and have children sit on their lap?  As if torturing Erin with Santa at Christmas isn’t enough, now at Easter she has to deal with the Easter Bunny. My elaborate...

Cookie Dough

Let’s be honest, at one point or another we’ve all chowed down on a tube of raw cookie dough straight from the fridge.  I’ve always been told that the raw eggs in cookie dough put you at risk for getting salmonella.  Despite this warning, I’ve never heard of someone...

erin and harvey

Katie Craig is an English Bulldog enthusiast and just started blogging. She started her instagram 2011 to share pictures of the couples first bulldog, Humphrey, with other English Bulldog lovers. Tragically Katie and Sean lost Humphrey in December 2011.  Shortly after Sean surprised Katie with Harvey.  The family has since expanded to include 3 year old Erin and that’s when things got interesting.  Katie began documenting Erin and Harvey’s relationship on instagram.  Eventually social media outlets began to notice the adorable pictures and videos and made them a viral sensation.

Frozen Adventure at Epcot

If you have a toddler or younger child you most likely know the movie Frozen, if not, consider yourself luckier than me.  Don’t get me wrong, the FIRST time I watched Frozen, I loved it!  I thought it was a unique princess story (if you exclude the parents being...

Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. It’s the happiest place on earth, allegedly.  After our trip there last month, I’d really hate to see the saddest place on earth.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many tears and toddler tantrums in one place, just ask...
